Welcome to our new Ambassador Dan Vitale

We’re delighted that Dan Vitale has agreed to become an ambassador of The Specialized Project. Dan is a founding member of Bim Skala Bim and has been their vocalist since 1983. He’s already been a huge support for us, having hosted the Big One 9 Online and contributing many recordings for us over the past 10 years.
He arranged for the The Skatalites to appear on the One Heart album and has bought other artists to us including Calypso Joe and The Stubborn Allstars.
Dan has been a hugely respected character in the international ska scene and is considered as among the most positive and kindest personalities in ska. He’s very active in assisting South American musicians to get exposure by setting up recording sessions and promoting their music. Dan also has a passion for film making and is the man behind New England SKA Summit and Chet’s Last Call: A Story of Rock & Redemption. its that type of professional experience and proactive thinking that Dan will bring to us at Specialized
