Anyone who knows anything about Specialized over the last 15 years will know what we are about and what we do.

2026 has been a difficult year.
For the first time in our existence, this year has seen an unprecedented amount of gig cancellations for the Project – mainly due to low ticket sales. Now- we know this is happening every where in the UK and the cost of living is driving this decrease for everyon BUT… these little satellite gigs we always do around the country every year are the pure lifeblood of the Project. Funds raised there go directly into the funding circle to help with matters and projects here in the UK and abroad. These cancellations have mean a huge 10K plus deficit to us and this is how we do what we do. We have to pay out for items such as storage, accountants- the list goes on.
This campaign is to help soften the heavy blow of 2026 as we look to a brighter 2027. We have plans to push on with but at the moment the brakes are on.
2026 is our 15th Anniversary.
So… dear friends… we come back to you -Our wonderful community. We are looking to raise £5000 towards administration over the year, this includes help with storage rents ( we have a ton of eqiupment!), and kickstart some of the plans we have, especially the Hospital/Carer Transportation fund
We are in the proceeds of applying for funding through the Arts Council and others and have recently been turned down by the National Lottery , The King Charles Foundation but we keep on fighting.
