FIRST INTERNATIONAL ACTS ANNOUNCED FOR 15TH BIG ONE FESTIVAL 2026

The First International acts have been announced and one from the UK for the 2026 Specialized Big One International Ska & Reggae Festival.
This year sees The Specialized Project CIC celebrate our 15th ANNIVERSARY and we are hoping to bring some great acts to celebrate in style.

The acts;
WERSJA DE LUX (POLAND)

These long standing stalwarts of the Polish scene will give us their unique take of their ska style.
For them, music is a connecting element for all people in the world, no matter what group they belong to.
Each member of Wersja De Lux has unique music backgrounds and different inspirations, but they all agree on one thing – the music has to be frank and honest.You’ll find here a fusion of ska, punk-rock and rock and roll. All wrapped up in a delightful package. Catch them on Sunday 8th November 2026.

LOS FASTIDIOS (ITALY)
The band was formed in Verona, Italy in 1991 and have spent more than 30 years on the road touring all over the world. The Los Fastidios sound is a powerful melodic street ska & punk which mixes classical 80’s Streetpunk sounds with a lot of skanking moments and some reggae, rock’n’roll and a touch of pop ( something for everyone!) sung in italian and english with some touches in french, spanish and german languages! Catch Los Fastidios on Saturday 7th November.

THE SKA FLAKES ( FRANCE)
The Ska Flakes is a 9-piece ska band from Le Havre,Normandy, France. Formed in 2022, they are
known for their energetic live shows and their blend of early reggae, 2-tone ska, ska punk, original ska, andr rocksteady. The band’s debut album “I Do It Every Day,” was released in 2024. The album was well received by critics and fans alike and helped establish The Ska Flakes as one of the leading ska bands in France. The band are currently touring to promote their new album. They have several upcoming shows in France and also plan to tour Europe and the US in the future. Catch them on Saturday 7th November.

SMOKE LIKE A FISH (UK)
A fantastic addition to the roster, Smoke Like a Fish are an energetic eight-piece Welsh ska-punk band known for their upbeat, brass-heavy sound blending 2-Tone ska with modern influences, catchy melodies, and socially conscious lyrics, active since the 2000s with albums like their self-titled debut and Survival of the Hip’est and of course well known for their association with Kippertronix Fest.
Full of Up-tempo, aggressive, groovy, and danceable tunes with a strong emphasis on off-beat rhythms and great social awareness. SMAF will shake the place up. Catch them on Friday 6th November.
